In 2017 Philip worked in Gettysburg College Special Collections where he photographed items to be digitized. He also photographed certain items on loan and being used in an exhibit these photos were then put into a college publication to go along with the exhibit. in the summer of 2017 Philip was awarded a grant to do research with photo negatives from World War Two which evolved into the printing of many of the negatives which will be shown in a gallery at Gettysburg College in the Fall of 2018 into the Spring of 2019
